Although they provide a 2000 token daily quota, the models themselves have strict limitations, with the actual available amount reaching only a few hundred. Additionally, OpenRouter’s free plan offers even less, leading users to seek more stable, large-scale, and reliable alternatives. This discussion reveals the technical limitations of free AI APIs, providing valuable practical insights for developers and AI enthusiasts that help optimize resource allocation and choose more efficient tools.
